Installing a new floating floor directly on top of the existing granite tiles instantly made the home feel warmer and allowed more natural light to be bounced around the space. 

Kitchen Cabinetry Re-finish

Respraying the kitchen cabinetry in Wattyl Dawn Rain and replaced all the handles with a classic knob in keeping with the country profile of the existing kitchen design.

Formal Lounge

In a home this large, a formal lounge is a great opportunity to create a cosy room, away from the television, where guests can relax and conversation can flow. New flooring brought in the warmth, while soft shades of blues and greys combine for a quiet colour scheme. 

Bedroom

With a limited budget and a huge home, a coat of paint and some styling can make a world of difference. A subtle soft colour scheme and an upholstered bedhead adds the luxury a home this size deserves.

Master Bedroom

Luxurious loop pile carpets, and floor to ceiling curtains instantly brought this massive master bedroom into the modern era. The bay window makes for a perfect place to escape, and the privacy of the Luxaflex Duette blinds will not only create an intimate vibe - it will also insulate from the extremes of the Mt Gambier weather.

Staging and Symmetry

A large home needs to work harder to create a sense of warmth and intimacy. Larger pieces of furniture are at home, but it's the details that create the atmosphere. Using symmetry to calm the mind, we styled the home with a mix of luxury finishes, brushed nickel, glass and a soft colour scheme, balancing the harder surfaces such as metal and glass, with soft greens, calming artwork and fabric finishes.
