The team shares valuable insights into the volatile property market, plus tips and advice on how to improve the value of your own home. “I can’t tell you how much I enjoy working on the show,” explains Wendy. “As an interiors expert and former magazine editor, I see renovating a home much like the creative endeavour of publishing a magazine. Every week I want to show something new, push design boundaries, and test myself and the team to deliver something special.” You can watch the show on The LifeStyle Channel on Foxtel or Hubbl, via the LifeStyle app on your smart TV or live on Binge.

Selling Houses Australia Series 14

Episode 1 Mount Gambier, SA

Mt Gambier living room

The first renovation of the Selling Houses Australia season 14 took the team to Mount Gambier, for the transformation of a fussy old thing into a visage of traditional modern style. The power of paint is pretty clear, renewing from dated, dim and definitely past its prime to fit for entertaining and ready to host a crowd!

Episode 2 Jindabyne, NSW

The team headed to Jindabyne, NSW for this renovation on Selling Houses Australia for a project Wendy described as “a labour of love”. The home was cluttered, dated and impractical, but the bones were fantastic, so Wendy got to work simplifying and re-imagining all that clutter into cosy country chic and voila! Modern mountain lodge, the 2022 edit.

Episode 3 Belrose, NSW

This little family home was transformed by a modern monochrome palette with a dash of timber to warm it up, plus a whole lotta dazzle (like the Oriel Lighting chandelier in the kitchen. Gorgeous Luxaflex blinds and curtains made a big difference, too. The team used rugs from Flooring Xtra – Saffron 22 in White and Oasis in Charcoal, freshened up walls with Wattyl ‘Wattyl White’ and chose furniture with a sleek, modern vibe.

Episode 4 Dennistone, NSW

If you love colour but aren’t sure how to bring it all together in one home, this renovation in Dennistone, which updated colourful vintage elements into modern style, is for you! Each room in this home told its own colour story, but they all worked together to sing in a kaleidoscope of refined but joyful colour.

Episode 5 Penola, SA

Wendy Moore’s favourite moments from the once-unsellable Penola home on Series 14 of Selling Houses Australia. It was a big job to transform it into a vision of coastal sophistication, and it’s now swatched in smart blues, pale timbers and retains its stone and original references. The feature blue is Wattyl Oriental Blue, shining against timber floors are Audacity Hybrid floors in Bella Vista from Flooring Xtra.

Episode 6 Lindfield, NSW

This renovation in Lindfield, NSW was a whole lot of fun, with a medley of gorgeously subtle Wattyl paints, some stunning artwork and rugs throughout from Flooring Xtra add a bolt of personality. It’s a refined refresh that sings with modern style.

Episode 7 Urunga, NSW

The key to success in the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area of the Urunga renovation on Selling Houses Australia was to carry through the tonal story to all rooms. Updated flooring and rugs from Flooring Xtra was step one, and painting the living room wall in the same deep navy paint Wattyl ‘Londonberry Blue’) step two. Then, it was bringing in accessories with that laid-back coastal vibe to carry through the beachside vibe: ‘Tanah’ pendant from Oriel Lighting, cushions from Rapee and lots and lots of natural textures, like rattan, jute and linen.

Episode 8 Chifley, NSW

Welcome to Chifley, NSW, now home to this little stunner! If you watched Selling Houses Australia, you already know how charmless this home was prior to the update. The goal was to transform this rundown house into an elegant and traditional home, with a very 2022 twist - gorgeous colour, classic profiles, art and lots of reflective surfaces added a bit of glam.

Episode 9 Rosebrook, NSW

This home in Rosebrook was a diamond in the rough. All the team had to do was shift the layout and polish her up. Now, she’s a dream in soothing green, where natural textures take centre stage, light flows and liveability is paramount. “I’m not gonna lie - I am pretty happy with the result of this reno. But earlier- sheesh!,” says Wendy, who brought her favourite colour, green, to this Selling Houses Australia update.

Episode 10 Bridport, Tas

In this episode of Selling Houses Australia, the team popped across Bass Strait and headed east to create this coastal Hamptons dream in Bridport, Tasmania (about an hour’s drive from Launceston). Put this charming coastal hideaway on your travel agenda, stat! It’s a gorgeous beachside town complete with waterfalls and white sand dunes, and there’s even a golf course or two for the linksman (or woman) in your life.
